Virginia Piano

Hi, I’m Virginia! I’ve taught private piano lessons to kids (ages 4+) and adults for 30 years, and I love creating a warm, comfortable environment where students feel supported and excited to learn! Lessons are offered in my Elgin studio at 2090 Larkin Ave, at Randall and Route 20, or online.

I use the Faber Adventures method along with songwriting, creative activities, and students’ favorite popular songs. My teaching style is gentle, warm, and encouraging, while still helping students stay motivated and steadily progressing. The studio includes a dedicated piano room and a comfortable waiting area for parents.

I offer optional student performances throughout the year with local businesses and community events. Performers receive a personalized keepsake card and a small gift.

Students also enjoy my seasonal “Practice Challenges,” where they track progress on a themed poster and can earn a reward and recognition.
